R-Value

The basic rule most ceiling needs: R21, compared to walls R15 (3 in of closed cell foam recommended). We can install R38-60 at your request. NY Zone 4A (mixed humid)

Open or Closed Cell Foam

Both systems work great. But Closed cell (more expensive) is a vapor barrier and will add strength to the roof.

Basement Ceiling

We recomend open cell only on basement ceiling. R-Value +21 is recommended. It will add some level of soundproof.

Foam Lifetime 80-100 years

Foam will not aged. Long last the life of the building.
